As the weather has taken a turn for the better this week, I'm sure like us, you can feel summer coming on. So, we wanted to share some tips with you to save your phone from any sun damage.

Make sure your phone is always kept out of direct sunlight.
Your phone will always try to protect the internal components from the excess heat. It will attempt to self-regulate its temperature. This may cause you to see a heat warning on the screen, if this does appear you should place your phone in the shade. You should only charge your phone once it has cooled down.
Make sure not to leave your phone in a car during the heat. As cars often at like greenhouses, it can cause temperatures to rapidly rise. If the phone is left either in the glove compartment or out in the direct sunlight, this can cause severe damage to the battery of your phone and in some cases, it will even cause damage to the LCD screen.
To reduce the strain on your battery, you should adjust your phone brightness to the lowest level, close all apps running in the background and disconnect any wireless connections.
The recommended operating temperature for most iPhones, is between 0 and 35 degrees.
We hope you have found these tips helpful. If your phone does become damaged in the heat or at all, feel free to give us a call and we would be happy to book you in for a battery repair or any other repair which is required on your device.
